Investing & Finance

Everyone should have an investment strategy and a game plan for setting money aside.  Not making enough money is no excuse for not investing.  You need to put together a budget and determine just how much you can set aside each month, or each paycheck for your savings or investment account.

Investing in Stocks

Stocks while they can be fun, they also carry more risk than the less risky bonds that you can invest in.  If you are new to investing you may want to only purchase funds as they will help you to diversify your risk why still exposing you to the market risk of the market.  For example, if you purchase a single stock, you are exposed to many forms of risk related to the company, as well as market risk.  The company you purchased can experience a large number of problems related only to their company, but no matter what they do, they will also be exposed to what is called market risk.

Investment in Bonds

If you are a risk adverse investor, you will probably want to invest in bonds.  Investing in bonds will expose you to some risk in the market, and as such you will receive more than you would receive from a savings account.
